Guarddog: "Unsatisfied libXinerama.so.1"

I'm a newbie who was trying to install guarddog-2.3.1-1mdk.i586.rpm to run on my Mandrake 9.2 and got a "Unsatisfied libXinerama.so.1" diagnostic. I've read on the Web that libXinerama.so.1 is an Xfree library and should already be installed on my system. However, the "locate" command doesn't turn it up.

Also rpmfind reported i386, athlon, and i686 rpms for that library & Mandrake 9.2. My CPU is the Mobile AMD Athlon XP-M 1400+ (on an ECS L7VMM3 motherboard). So the Athlon the is the correct rpm?

Thanks a lot.

Trish
