Gtk-gnutella, kmldonkey, mutella troubles on SuSE 9.1
I did not observe the rule "never change a running system", and replaced SuSE 9.0 Personal with SuSE 9.1 Personal.
On SuSE 9.0 I had Gtk-gnutella, mldonkey and mutella all working fine.
Now, on SuSE 9.1:
A) Gtk-gnutella always reports that it is behind a firewall, and never establishes a single connection to the network, despite that there is no firewall, as I disabled SuSEFirewall2 in yast.
B) Kmldonkey does not accept the mldonkey binary I downloaded from the kmldonkey site.
C) Mutella cannot even be compiled, as it always complains of a missing zlib; despite the fact that the zlib and zlib-devel packages are installed according to yast.
I have no working P2P programs left, but I need one.
Could you give me a hint, which of the above problems would be easier to debug, or recommend me an other P2P program that runs even on SuSE 9.1?
