GRUB rescue on after deleting Linux Partition

Hey, so I had recently gotten rid of my Linux partition because it wasn't acting correctly. When I tried to uninstall Ubuntu by deleting it from windows using the uninstall application, the application was not there.
I have looked at other people with this problem, however none of them had to do with missing partitions.
When I boot up, I am sent to the GRUB shell or whatever and it says the following:

error: unknown filesystem
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue>

For some reasons, the commands SUDO and a couple of other commands people had listed do not work for me...are there any commands or something to fix my computer?

you'll need to run fixmbr from the cmd console using your windows installation/rescue disk if your not planning on reinstalling linux. google fixmbr for how to. A reinstallation of linux will fix the problem also.
