GRUB parameter to stop AGP module from loading

I'm having some problems with 3D DRI, and I've traced it all back to one problem: my kernel has an AGP module that overrides my fglrx one. I could recompile my kernel, but I'd rather spare the time and just enter a parameter into my menu.lst to stop this offending module from loading. Could anyone tell me what I have to add to the following to stop AGP from loading?

Code:
title Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-17-amd64-k8 Default
root (hd1,0)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hdb1 ro quiet splash
initrd /boot/initrd.img
savedefault
boot
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure where it can be found in Ubuntu, but there should be a configuration file somewhere that tells the kernel which modules to load. Simply comment out the offending module. Try looking for /etc/modules.conf or /etc/modprobe.conf or /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6
