GRUB fails on bootup

Hi,

I installed a larger hard disk a few days ago and copied my boot, system, and swap partitions across before removing the old hard disk. I then booted grub from a floppy and ran setup to install a new master boot sector.

When I boot my PC I get a message "grub" repeated a thousand or so times. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it? System works find when booting from a grub floppy.

System: RedHat 7.2

Any help appreciated.

Could you post a copy of both the grub.conf on your harddisk and the one that's on the floppy (there is one, isn't there - I use lilo, so I don't know ).
