Good ripper for scratched CDs?
I rip a lot of CDs (audiobooks) into OGG format, but every now and then I come by one that has a scratch on it. KAudioCreator will just hang, trying to read it, for what seems like an eternity. When I come across this, I have to reboot into Windows XP and use FreeRip, which reads scratched discs with no problem (although, of course, the audio will skip where the scratch was).
I'd really like to rip my discs within Linux. Does anybody know of a ripper that doesn't get confused when it encounters a scratch? Or maybe there's some sort of option I can use with KAudioCreator?
Thanks for any help,
Baltika
