Gnome shell extensions download but do not install

I have a 32-bit and a 64-bit laptop, both running Fedora 24 and using Firefox. I am trying to install the same Gnome shell extensions on both.

The 64-bit machine downloads and installs correctly, but the 32-bit machine only downloads.

For example, I locate the 'Removable Drives Menu' extension in Firefox on both machines (https://extensions.gnome.org/extensi...le-drive-menu/).

I click on the On/Off switch to turn it 'On'. On both machines, I am asked whether to download and install and both machines then download something, according to the wireless activity LEDs.

On the 64-bit machine, the extension is now installed and functioning, but on the 32-bit machine the extension is not installed.

The 'On/Off' button on the web page on the 32-bit machine is still 'On', but if I leave that page and return to it, the 'On/Off' switch is 'Off' again.

On the 32-bit machine, I can repeat the loop with the same (lack of) result.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help will be gratefully received.
Doug

In desperation, I logged out of the 32-bit machine and logged back in again. Presto! All is now working fine. I don't know what was wrong, but it is fixed now.
