gFTP

Lord what is it with this software?

I have two linux boxes. When I try to FTP between the two (with gFTP) - it immediately logs off after it connects and verifies the password. So I turn off passive mode and then . . . . when I try to change directory, I get a message, here comes the listing, but it never comes.

I know its not the firewall on these systems or the FTP servers, because I can use a windows box and leech FTP to send/recieve freely to the two linux boxes.

:-/

What the heck.

use the "ftp" command line to login into your box and see how it goes. If it also fails, then we know the problem is not on gftp.
