getting started with fluxbox / no icons & right click menus

I've just installed Fluxbox in Kubuntu 5.10. But when I log into Fluxbox, I don't see any icons on the desktop and my left click menu isn't showing any applications. In DSLinux I have these things, but by default in Kubuntu I have nothing. How do you get started with Fluxbox? Is there something I can type into the terminal or something?
