I installed pygtk, pyorbit, gDesklet, gnome-python, libgtop from sources and with prefix=/usr. All successfully installed in my system. Now, I tried one of sensor, that is psi-pager. Unpack into ~/.gdesklet/Displays/. Then I ran this command: gdesklets ~/.gdesklet/Displays/psi-pagerblabla.display. I got this message:

Sensors are used to extrapolate data from the system. Such data may include network usage info, cpu speed, temperature, users logged on, or even web data from a website like weather. A senser just supplies data.
Displays are the nice pieces of eyecandy that _display_ the information from the sensors.
If a display requires a sensor (like the psi suite) , it may come with it, or you may have to download them.
