gcombust not working

Hello,

I have just change distribution to go with Fedora Core 2. I am very happy with this change, but I still have a few problems getting everything working properly.

Since two days now, I am trying to make gcombust working. I can get it working, but not detecting the external CD-RW. I says that cdrecord fails to recognize the selected drive. So I tried cdrecord -scanbus to locate the CD-RW. I only get

scsidev: 'ATA'
devname: 'ATA'
scsibus: -2 target: -2 lun: -2

and the system stops there without anything more.

I tried updating cdrecord and mkisofs, but the problem is still there.

cdrecord: No such device or address. Cannot open '/dev/pg0'. Cannot open SCSI driver.
is also a comment that I get from gcombust.

I have the feeling that I am going in circles to solve this problem. I am completely out of ideas.

I'm having the same problem with gcombust in Mandrake 10.1.

Anyone any ideas?
