GameEX for Linux?

I've got a friend who's trying to built an arcade machine, and we're looking to go Linux if we can.

He really likes the frontend called GameEx, and if we can find something as pretty but linux-based, we'll go that way.

Anyone have any ideas?

no idea what gamex is... probably just a mame ui though... there are plenty of mame engines for linux and even more front ends to match.

Explain to me where that's any sort of answer to my question.

I'll explain to you how being a smart ass isn't going to make anyone want to help you. Actually, I think that covers it, not more explaination necessary.

Obviously you know what MAME is, acid pointed out that there are plenty of apps for linux available that will do what you want and since you didn't provide a link to GameEX, we don't know what it is but hey, you've got Google and typing in "<something you want> linux" tends to yield pretty helpful results.

I registered to this forum just so I can say:
