fuji finepix 2650 usb in linux

i want to be able to view my digi cam pics on my trip im taking. ive read that u can mount xd mem card based cameras simply as a drive, so i made a /camera mount point and added "/dev/sda1 /camera vfat noauto, owner,ro,user" to my fstab. When i try to mount it with "mount /camera" i get the message "/dev/sda1 is not a valid block device. I checked to see if i have usb modules running with "lsmod" and i see that "usb-ohci" and "usbcore" are running. How can i mount this camera??? also, im using debian woody so if there is a package i dont know about can u please tell me?
