FTP transfer including subdirectories for Linux Redhat 7.2

Anybody knows any software for file transfer (FTP) that can be used to transfer files including the
subdirectories structure, so I don't have to create the directories in the destination?
I found IglooFTP but the version on the web to download is too new for Linux Redhat 7.2.
I know my redhat 7.2 is a bit old, but I want to transfer somewhere safer all my data before updating linux.
I know, I'm a newbie! :-)
If I use the ftp command from linux, I cannot include subdirectories, I have to create them before transfering all
the files. Or can I? Anybody knows how?

Thanks in advance for any help

Do you have Gnome on your RH? If so, gFTP should do the job for you.
