ftp proxy server other then frox


HI All

I need ftp proxy server.That i can find in rpm formate for fedora 11.If any one know other then frox.which support ldap authentication like we have with squid ntlm thing.
I will be thank full to you all in this regard.

Sorry, can't understand any of this. Are you looking for an FTP server? Client that supports proxying? And how does LDAP and NTLM come into this?

If you've got squid, it can handle FTP proxy, so use any server/client you want.

squid can not pass ftp traffic via ftp client for uploading and downloading.I need ftp proxy server.Squid is http proxy server.So one is frox if any one know other ftp proxy server let me know.

Sorry, Squid CAN do FTP proxying, and has been able to for some time:

Please try to read squid mailing list before posting.I have already tried that and didnt work.ftp traffic only work if you open ftp site on browser like ftp://username@hostname.squid cant do ftp uploading and downloading its involves active and passive port.Also read squid doc if you need more understanding.

No, thanks...I have all the understanding I need, seeing as it's already working for me, using clients on both Windows and Linux/unix.
