frame buffer logo from gif? jpeg?


is there any way i can use small GIFs or JPEGs to make a framebuffer logo to replace tux?

iv seen of some program that can take images as input and output that logo.h file for the frame buffer, i 4get what they were called tho, i think it was from bootlogo project?, or mybe the linux progress patch project?
