Formatting partition with XFS.

After reading a lot on the Forums about XFS, now I think I will give it a try.

What software should I use that will successfully create a XFS partition?

I tried QT Parted from the Yoper CD (I don't remember the Yoper Version right now).
But when I formatted it, it said like mkfs.xfs was not able to format the partition properly.

I don't know what is wrong.

I also found that the mkfs does not have a xfs option.

Please tell me at the earliest.

Waiting for a fast file system.

Sorry for not being patient.

I did it.

apt-get install xfsprogs

I also installed the suggested packages. Everything working fine now.
