fluxbox sub menu question

I am using aterm for transparancy, i would like to get rid of the submenu, is it to do with aterm or with fluxbox?
if it fluxbox, i guess anything can be rid of the submenu.

hmm, not sure what you mean here..
If you want aterm as an option on the Top-Level menu, edit
/home/<username>/.fluxbox/menu and place the start-procedure for aterm at the same level as you would put a submenu..
ex:
[begin] (Fluxbox)
[submenu] (terminals)
(xTerm) {xterm}
[end]
(aTerm) {aterm -tr -fg grey}
[end]

Don't know if this is what you ment.
If not, post more about what you want achieved, and I'm sure you'll get the answers you need.

What version of aterm are you using Window decorations are generally the job of the window manager but newer aterms can ditch the decorations with the -bl arguement. Eterm has been able to do it for a while as has (u)rxvt

I have set up in ~/.fluxbox/keys

Mod1 d :ToggleDecor

which lets me turn on and off any decoration for any application on the fly

for a understanding of what i have add
Mod1 is the alt key
d is the letter d logically meaning decoration

If you hold Alt and click on the decoration-less window you will be able to move it.
