fluxbox installation

when compiling flux i get this error when i do the make cmd.

how can i fix this?
when i did the configure i added --enable-kde to the end of it. should i leave that out"?

Apparently you didn't get the beginning of
the block of error messages ... but

gives a fair indication of the problem you
are facing :)

Try a "locate freetype.h" and see what it spits
out...

i did a locate freetype.h

$: locate freetype.h
/usr/X11R6/include/fontconfig/fcfreetype.h
/usr/share/texmf/doc/help/Catalogue/entries/freetype.html
/usr/include/freetype2/freetype/freetype.h

is it not looking in the right dir for the file?
what should i do now? =\

fluxbox 0.1.14/freetype fix
I've been trying to get this to work for a while, and found a solution this morning. I've tested it on gentoo and slackware, and all seems fine.
The problem is that fluxbox is looking for the freetype libs in /usr/include/freetype and freetype2 puts them in /usr/include/freetype2/freetype. Just make a symlink to to the libs:

ln -s /usr/include/freetype2/freetype /usr/include/freetype


Also, if you're using gcc3, you might need to apply the fluxbox 0.1.14 gcc3 patch before you compile/
