Flash on AMD64 Fix

I've been using Linux on AMD64 for over a year now and just today I found a way to get flash to work with an x86_64 and I thought I would share it with anyone else having the same problem. I have tried gplflash but never got it to work properly. I did this running Slamd64-10.2.

The second page of this forum has a link that allows you to use 32 bit plugins with konqueror.
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=216959

I installed it but modified the setup.sh file

Orignal:
cp -iv ./lib32/* /usr/lib32
Modified:
cp -iv ./lib32/* /home/yourusername/.mozilla/plugins

Then I added /home/yourusername/.mozilla/plugins to konquerors search path for plugins and scanned for new plugins.

Then I downloaded macromeadia's flash player 7.

Then I removed two sections of the flashplayer-installer script

# the architecture is not supported
exit_cpu () {
echo ""
echo "ERROR: Your architecture, \'$1\', is not supported by the"
echo " $PRODUCT installer."
echo ""
exit 1
}

and

# check architecture
TEMPARCH=`uname -m`
case $TEMPARCH in
i[3456]86)
ARCH=i386
;;
*)
exit_cpu $TEMPARCH
;;
esac

Since I had firefox installed in my home directory when I ran the script I pointed the installer
to /home/user/firefox-installer

Then I add /home/user/firefox-installer to konquerors search path and scanned for new plugins. Flash works perfectly in both konqueror and firefox now.

Hopefully this helps anybody who's been having this issue. Comments or Questions are always appreciated.
