Firefox ugly fonts..


Why do my firefox display fonts like this? It is this bad on many websites, although not on all. Can anyone help me please?

What on earth? I can see nothing wrong with those fonts. It's the same on my box.

Hehe..I just found a solution. Install msttcorefonts and set firefox fonts to verdana.

My config looks like this now. Looks beautiful compared to the old one

Another quick and dirty solution is to simply uncheck the option to allow web sites to Choose their own fonts, instead of your selections. This can be particularly useful with an X-terminal with little RAM, since more fonts means more RAM consumed. (The amount of memory saved isn't much compared to the monstrous amount of RAM devoured by Firefox, but with a remote X login Firefox is running on a different computer.)
