ff issues: "customize" won't work & tab sidebar??

hi there, sorry if this is the wrong place. on another machine, I got the firefox to display the tabbar on the side of the browser - like a tab sidebar. newest tab mix plus only supports top and bottom. I can't remember whether I need an extra extension and which that would be. help appreciated.

another problem since I freshly installed heaps of addons is that "customize" won't work. it just doesnt appear, nothing happens. help, again, appreciated. thanks a lot. a pity firefox doesn't have forums of their own. thanks a lot.

1) I know there are several extensions for side tabs, but I don't know what they're called. Try looking in the installed extensions list for the system that does have it.

2) Sometimes there are extension and/or theme conflicts. Extensions that modify menus and other gui displays often do things like hiding menu entries. Try disabling some extensions (restarting each time) to see if any of them are at fault. Sometimes installing extensions in a different order can help.

3) The official Firefox forums are at http://forums.mozillazine.org
