I've noticed a small issue with FC4's up2date (maybe its me?). I upgraded from FC3 to FC4 and everything works fine except for up2date; that and the infamous "no sound" issue. Up2date didn't seem to update itself so the Sources file is still configured for FC3. So I'm sure it's understood that up2date wants to downgrade all the packages to FC3.
Also... the no sound issue that plagues us all... I've gone through the quintillions of posts regarding this issue and all seem to end up with, "make sure the PCM is unmuted". Any other suggestions?? I've unmuted *everything* and verified that the SoundMAX drivers should be intel8x0. This started with FC3 two days after I installed it.
I didn't get the sound issue with SuSE. However I don't want to change distros again b/c my wireless refuses to work with it. That's my one and only gripe with Novell.
