Exchange Address book VS Evolution

i'm connecting over the internet for an http exchange mailbox using evolution . lets say that the url is : http://xxx.com ... i put that in the wizard and i'm able to authoniticate and get my e-mail. but when i try to open the global address list i get an error says that evolution is not able rechaable to locate the url or the server is not reachable. i set up the same url : //xxx.com for the global address book.
thanks
