Evolution mail...configuration tips!!

Hi,

Well I have started using Ximian Evolution recently....

So my first question is....
As all the email address I mail to end with @students.iiit.net generally, so how can i tell evolution tht if the mail id i type does not have "@blah blah" in it then add "@students.iiit.net" to it....so tht i cud conviniently write only ids and not "@students.iiit.net" each time....

THIS THREAD IS INVOKED TO IN GENERAL DISCUSS THE VARIOUS TIPS AND TRICKS IN USING XIMIAN EVOLUTION, AND SO PLEASE POUR IN AS MUCH GREAT INFORMATION YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT WORK BETTER AND MORE POWERFUL AND MORE EASY AND ANYTHING ELSE.

regards
unpredictable

Not sure if you can do this kind of scripting thing with evolution.
But two thing occur to me:

- You can add the names to address book, so when you type the first chars, it will remember. It saves you typing, if this is the idea.

- If you use kde, the klipper (clipboard) has a lot os slots, so you can keep the domain in one of those. And just paste it to the to: field.
