Evince doesn't embed correctly with mozplugger

I have installed Mozplugger and changed mozpluggerrc so it opens evince. However, it shows an embedded version in the tab that doesn't accept interactions and opens the version that can be interacted with in a new window. Does anyone know what may be causing this? I'm not very knowledgable with the specific commands in mozpluggerrc. My current setup for PDF files is as follows:

application/pdf

df:PDF file
application/x-pdf

df:PDF file
text/pdf

df:PDF file
text/x-pdf

df:PDF file
repeat swallow(evince) fill: evince "$file"

evince is a program that displays pdf files in separate window.
You don't need mozplugger to specify this action.
If the default mozilla action to open a pdf is evince, mozilla (et al) will close the launching window when evince starts and displays your pdf.

My intent is to embed it. That is why I am using mozplugger.
