When I try to compile LTFS either with HP_StoreOpen_Standalone_2.2.1 or qtmltfs-2.1.2-2 on debian linux 8 64 bit I get a very similar error that reports:

I can not find a solution, in my previous linux installation everything worked fine following the instructions in:

That looks like a bug to me.

I got qtmltfs-2.1.2-2 to compile by changing "struct file_handle" to "struct ltfs_file_handle" in ltfs_fuse.h and ltfs_fuse.c.

You can edit those files or try using sed:
I don't have a tape drive to test with though . . .
