Hello people,
I am totally confused by this.
I have successfully installed and set up tomcat and apache... independantly.
I am having major headaches integrating the two. I have created the mod_jk2 connector also.
When i goto
http://localhost:8080/MyFirst/HelloWorld the helloworld servlet is called and displays correctly. If i use
http://localhost/MyFirst/HelloWorld i get error 503 the service is not currently available.
What is going wrong
One thing i can say is, jk2.socket is supposed to be created when tomcat starts, it does not. I think this is the root cause of the problem.
Here is an excert from the apache error log file
