enlightenment, rox, and .xinitrc

I am having a difficult time getting rox started with enlightenment in my .xinitrc file I have attached my .xinitrc file:

enlightenment &
exec /usr/libexec/gnome-settings-daemon &
gkrellm2 &
exec rox -b=MyPanel

The above gives me an error saying something like a font is unable to be loaded. When I don't have the .xinitrc loading rox, everything works fine. Is the above correct?
