eMule client for Ubuntu linux

Hello there. I recently tried to install on my pc, which is under Ubuntu linux, some eMule clients like amule and xmule. Unfortunatelly both of them did not work properly. The amule's menus were unreadable and thus the program unusable, while the xmule couldn't connect to most servers and every time I started it, it crashed after running just a few minutes. So please anyone using Ubuntu tell me using what soft to connect to this network and how to install it.
Thanks in advance !

Sounds like something is broken. aMule works great for me on Debian Sarge. Might wanna see if you can fix the problem instead of ignoring it.

I use aMule - it works very well. It can be installed from official Debian repo (at least in Debian Sarge).

I allmost sure that it is not hard to solve your problems try to ask or look for answers there:
