emerge error ?

I changes my system logger awhile back, from syslog-ng to sysklogd. I used the rc-update command to change them. I am getting this error evertime I boot or use emerge
Code:
 * Caching service dependencies...
 *  Service 'sysklogd' already provide 'logger'!;
 *  Not adding service 'syslog-ng'...                                     [ ok ]
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
 * Caching service dependencies...
 *  Service 'sysklogd' already provide 'logger'!;
 *  Not adding service 'syslog-ng'...
Why does it tell me it is not adding syslog-ng? below iis part of rc-update show
Code:
serial | boot
                sshd |
              switch |
            sysklogd |      default
           syslog-ng |
             urandom | boot
               vcron |      default
                 xdm |      default
                 xfs |
