Email program won't start

I am having an issue with Ximian Evolution in GNOME. When a user sets up their email in Ximian everything seems to work fine. However, as soon as they end their GNOME session and start a new one they can no longer open Ximian... it gives the following error:

"Cannot initialize Ximian Evolution shell: Configuration Database not found."

Can someone help me with this?

I just found that if I kill the oafd process, Ximian will start again. I have no idea why or what this means, but I found it on a Ximian support page. Could anyone suggest a way to keep from having to do this every time GNOME restarts?

do you have to kill oafd every time? Maybe the problem lies with oafd then, maybe its freezing and that's causing the problem...(I have no idea what it is tho..I just know it runs when I run evolution).
