Edit a libvirt-domain with virsh

I can't find an easy way to change the system time of the guest using Virtual Machine Manager. I tried modifying the domain with virsh from:

Code:
  <clock offset='utc'/>
    <timer name='rtc' tickpolicy='catchup'/>
    <timer name='pit' tickpolicy='delay'/>
    <timer name='hpet' present='no'/>
  </clock>
to

Code:
  <clock offset='variable' adjustment='-100000000' basis='utc'>
    <timer name='rtc' tickpolicy='catchup'/>
    <timer name='pit' tickpolicy='delay'/>
    <timer name='hpet' present='no'/>
  </clock>
but the changes don't seem to take effect. Did i make any mistake?

You might have to restart the VM.
