Red face easy to use ,few cliks dvd photo slideshow creation software in LINUX

Hello
Well I've been touring and I've got a lot of pictures nearly about 1000 . So i'm searching for a proper software to make dvd slideshow. First i've tought k3b will do the job just like nero but it has nothing like i've expected .Googling showed me some like qdvdauthor, smile and manslide but they hang on my centrino laptop . My centrino laptop runs sidux with 1GB ram .
Is there any easy to use ,few clicks type of dvd slideshow creation software. I dont want the command style ,atleast not for this job and I have no choice other than to switch to nero if there isnt any!. Please provide soome insight.

Thanks in Advance

Have you tried DeVeDe? I used it with success to make video DVDs until I got the hang of using CLI tools. If you're using Ubuntu, I'm pretty sure there's a package listed in aptitude.
