Question DVD copy/backup

I searched, and didnt really find what I was looking for, or it just didnt work/answer my questions. Im looking for something to copy/backup dvd's, basically like Magic DVD Copier for Windows, which works perfect for what I want to do. I tried the kd3 I think it is, and either it didnt work for me, or I just didnt understand/do it right. I'm fairly new to Linux, and just trying to find some software that I use in Windows daily to run in Linux, so I can do away with Windows completely.

I havent tried using Wine, would that work with running the windows version of Magic DVD Copier? Ive never used Wine for anything, just heard bout it, so Im not sure on how it works either.

Thanks for the help/tips!

Try k9copy or dvd::rip.

Else in K3b > Tools > Copy DVD, select the image destination and you're set. For other DVD-related copy options see for instance http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...t-copy-348492/ or search LQ.
In any case you should not ever need Wine for copying DVDs.
