How do I copy my system backup from hda3 to DVD?

I don't want to rely on my hard drive, just in case it fails. I want to copy my Partimage backup of /dev/hda1 from /dev/hda3 to DVD. How would I do that? What should the command be. Thanks!

Are you running in KDE? You can just use K3B do this. Gnomebaker in Gnome should be able to do it as well. You just want to create a Data CD.
