Question ? Dual processor support Mandrake 9.1

I have a dual processor PIII motherboard installed Mandrake 9.1 and everything went very smoothly. Program found all hardware and installed it painlessly. While looking at the Mandrake Control Center 9.1 under Boot the HardDrake shows only one of the two processors as being identified. Are two processors supported under this version and if so how do I make it do that? This is the first time I have ever used any linux program, being exhausted with Microsoft crashes.
Thank you for any help on this.

i am almost positive that by default only one processor is supported and you have to recompile the kernel to support dualies

After posting question I was looking back in same file and now it shows two processors. This is going to be interesting learning linux. Now I am focusing on getting my soundblaster 'live' card to produce some sound. It says it is working but I can't hear a thing.
Thank you for your quick reply.
