How would one install redhat 9 and mandrake 9.1 on a 19gig h/d and make it boot through boot.ini with both xp pro and 2000 on the master 15gig.

i would suggset that it doesn't.... instead install both linuxes on the master drive, along with a decent bootloader that is actually intended to do a good job (e.g. lilo or grub) on that drive. this means the linux boot loader need never ever go near the windows drives and is much much safer if you ever needed to remove it.

A couple of links to what I think you are asking.
I also prefer the Linux bootloaders.
But if you would rather the Windows, feel free...
Good Luck.
