Download utube and other videos and save tq PC software recommend please


I need to down load educational videos and save for later-offline use.
Any recommendation please.

The firefox addon DownThemAll! can do it, if you edit its options and check "Recognize and list (flash) videos"

I prefer youtube-dl as well. You can download many videos by pasting the links in a text file and then use youtube-dl to fetch them. You can also use youtube-dl to convert the video(s) to audio instead.

youtube-dl should be in your distro's repo. You can also download it from this site

Read the manpage for youtube-dl for more options

gtk-youtube-viewer, to be found here (yes, it also downloads. and searches).
