Question Download Manager recommedations


Because of where I live I remain on dial up. Any recommendations for a download manager that has a scheduling feature?

NB: Using SuSe 9.3/ KDE

Try Kget. It comes with KDE

Well, yea, but it doesn't work for me. All I get "This appears to be the first time you are using KGET. Please Cconfigure it" or something similar. And then zilch. Zip, Nothing.

hangs.

It didn't put an icon in your system tray?

Not on the original install. However, after reading your post I mucked about with YAST and software removal and re-installation.

I am pleased to report the expected icon is now there and KGET is working.
