distcc or iceccd which one should I use?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this type of thread but here goes. I'm looking to setup a distributed compiler setup on mixed architectures. Some x86_64 and some arm64. I would like to be able to set it up to cross compile too. Not sure which one if any can actually do this. Thanks for any information.

Not tried iceccd ( never actually heard of it til now! ), but distcc seems to work reasonable well, some make files hard code the path to gcc etc, so no joy with them, has a bit of a problem when compiling qt apps, times out a lot, probably owing to the large amount of headers needed to compile, oddly builds qt5 itself quite well, not tried cross compiling with it though.
