Disk Cataloger w/ a Mysql backend?

Does anyone know of a solid disk cataloging program that has a Mysql backend?

I have about 300 CD's that I want to catalog... a normal file just won't cut it. (for example, my old catalog in windows was about 80 megs, and slow as crap).

I checked out the common ones (GTKalog, CDcat) but both use files. I can write a php script that will dump that data to a mysql db... but that is a crapload of work that seems unnecessary.

Does anyone know of anything that I can try?

Freshmeat is definatly the place to go for scripts. Here is one I found earlier for another kiddo
http://freshmeat.net/projects/naamah/
**edit**
main website
http://www.tiscalinet.ch/nick/naamah/

it seems to do exactly what you want.
Good luck!

shit, you can really only use it to get the cddb info if you have a MS2000 or XP and IE.. Look at the other post about cddb and mysql in this forum for more scripts.

That's a good start, but I was also looking for cataloging different types of files (i.e. movies, etc, etc), if I wasn't specific enough. If you have any other suggestions that would be great; but for now I am gonna grab the source and see if I can modify it for other types. Thanks alot!

I would just search freshmeat.org for something that you are looking for. They have plenty of scripts on there site.
