disable terminal desktop turning off


How to disable screen turning of in terminal (tty1, tty2 e.t.c.) ? I have Suse Linux server 9
Sorry, if this question was asked, but no ideas how to ask corretly.
I.m just wish to monitor software constantly. Tired of presing any key every few minutes... .

Distribution: Switched to regualr Ubuntu, because I don't like KDE4, at all. Looks like vista on crack.....

Are you running a gui ? It seems it's just a power saving setting. You can change that, but I'm not sure where, and I'm even unsure what desktop, if any, you are running.
