difficulty with Real Player 10 on RHEL4, x86_64

Recently I installed Real Player 10 by executing .bin
file. The player works fine in firefox browser in root
account, but sound dissapears when I try to watch
video through the browser in a regular user account.

Does somebody know what the problem might be ?

I have RHEL4, x86_64 desktop and a 32-bit firefox browser.

Thanks,

John
