Question Difference between Audio Defaults and Audio List tabs in HandBrake?

Hi.

What's the difference between Audio Defaults and Audio List in HandBrake? Do I need to set the audio bitrate in both?

Thanks.

Hi Keruskerfuerst.

In the first image, Audio List = 128. For an example, I change it to 56 (2nd image). In image 3, the Audio Default remains 128.

This is confusing.

You should inform yourself about audio compression techniques.
Higher bitrates do result in better audio quality.

You should use a lossless audio compression techniques.

I used those values as examples. Why are there 2 tabs with seemingly the same audio bitrate settings?
