Die Miva, Die! Apache Woes, Cannot kill Miva

When I got my server it had miva installed in it which I do not want. The system has an init httpd_miva for stopping and starting, but if I stop miva it stops the whole server. If I stop httpd that stops everything as well. Now if I start httpd mive autmaitcally loads.

The /etc/init.d/httpd is pretty standard nothing about miva there. What is loading it? Cannot find anything in httpd.conf...

I do not want miva loading, plain and simple. Any ideas?

Check their website:

http://smallbusiness.miva.com/docs/e...resa_Unix.html

to see how it is installed, reverse that to uninstall it. Good luck.

That did not really have anything about installing, it was about configuring. I saw this document before.

Let me try again:

http://smallbusiness.miva.com/docs/i...ix.html#998367

This site also has some information on miva that might explain where it is originating/starting from.

I didn't check that first link to make sure it was the installation, I assumed it was.
