I was just pointing that you could do
fuser -km /mnt/cdrom2 to kill all processes that use cdrom2 and then you can use the eject command.
Does removing the hdc=ignore works?
If it works there is no need of the line in /etc/modules.conf
And Destry I tried and so did Geoff,I just think that you are not trying enough.Maybe becoz it is the lack of experience(in linux).But I understand that you have to do your work.I hope that by fall you will be able to use the CDRW within linux after your classes.
Till then windows it is then!?
