When I follow your link, I see that there are instructions for installing the program under Linux. Three distros are addressed, Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora. For all three, the notes address dependencies and how to resolve them.

Perhaps a bit more information would be helpful.

What distro are you using?
What have you done so far to install Democracy?
What type of file format do you not know how to install? Democracy for Linux is available as an rpm or deb package. It's also available as source so you can compile and build it on your machine.

Hello, I am trying to install the Democracy player (www.getdemocracy.com), On my fedora core 5 x64. I have installed all the depencies, :
xine-lib xine-lib-devel libfame gnome-python2-gtkmozembed gnome-python2-gconf

However , When I try to install I still fail with missing dependencies. :

Missing Dependency: libxine.so.1 is needed by package Democracy
Missing Dependency: libgtkembedmoz.so is needed by package Democracy
Missing Dependency: libxpcom.so is needed by package Democracy

Anyway, I fear this is because of fedora 64. Any Ideas.?
