Darwin Streaming Server problem
This is a fairly odd problem. I am running Fedora Core 1 and I am trying to set up a Darwin Streaming Server for audio and video, and for some reason, I cannot access my file sharing drive (a slave drive on my Linux box) through Darwin. I can access it through the terminal and through the GUI, but when I try to browse my files to access the files to stream, I open the folder that the mount points (and 2 other local folders) and I get a white screen, as if the folder was empty. I can't really work around this problem, because I can't export the live video file (the SDP file) from the broadcast source (a WinXP machine)to anything but that slave drive. Does anyone know why I can't access my mount points through Darwin? And like I said, it's not even the mount points themselves, it is actually the parent folder. The drive's mount point is located at:
/home/tendonut/D
Basically, I get a white screen when I try to open the "tendonut" folder, even when logged on as root. I can access ANY other folder on the entire system except for that one folder. Any ideas?
