Curious bash prompt editing question.

If anyone knows much about bash prompt editing, is it possible to be able to type commands in one red, for example, yet the color is reset to white for the output?

Did you try to google on this one?

I don't think it's possible. But if you find anything, can you post back? I'd love to hear.

If you are talking about the prompt then the escape is \e[0m to return the color back to normal.
